Ambassador Zhang Yesui Speaks at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Chinese Ambassador Zhang Yesui delivered a speech titled "China?and China-US Relations in the Era of Globalization" at the "E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues" at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on November 10, 2010 and answered questions from the audience.

Former?US?Senator from Nebraska Chuck Hagel, a Distinguished Professor at?Georgetown?University?also spoke at the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues. More than 1,700 people, including Chancellor Harvey Perlman and faculty and students of the?University?of?Nebraska-Lincoln?as well as other citizens of?Nebraska?attended the Forum.

Since its inception in 1988, the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues has invited more than 100 renowned speakers from the?United States?and other countries to the?University?of?Nebraska-Lincoln?to give lectures on world and public policy issues. The theme of this year's Forum is "Globalization's promise."
